 Reverend Kelly D. Turney has been appointed to the East Longmeadow United Methodist Church by Bishop Peter L. Weaver, Resident Bishop of the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church. Reverend Turney assumed her duties on July 1, 2005.
"Pastor Kelly" grew up in Texas where she attended Texas Christian University and then went on to Vanderbilt University, obtaining her Masters of Divinity in 1991. She is a published author and editor with credits that include the following works:
A prolific writer, she has also written numerous articles for noted publications.
Kelly recently served as Associate Pastor for Trinity UMC in Springfield. Prior to that she spent 10 years at Emory University as Assistant Director of the Equal Opportunity program, and she also worked at Vanderbilt University in a variety of roles. |
