East Longmeadow United Methodist Church

We're pleased to welcome Garrett Saake to the Music Director position. He's working toward a master's degree in choral conducting at The Boston Conservatory. He comes to the East Coast most recently from San Diego, where he earned a bachelor's degree in choral conducting. His parents and three younger sisters live in Northern California. New England may be a bit of a weather challenge, but he says he is up to it. Home at this time is the Boston area; he considers the commute to East Longmeadow as time to listen to and think about music. For relaxation, his love of choral music gives him great pleasure. And he loves sports.

Garrett is committed to working with the choir and creating beautiful music together with them. To quote Garrett, "...for notes and words to become music, the performers must believe in what they are doing and, even more importantly, enjoy it."
