OUR PASTOR
Reverend Katherine Mitchell
Pastor Katherine is originally from Central Maine. Previous to ministry she had a 15 year career as a mental health professional for children, youth and families. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and Boston University School of Theology where she earned her Masters of Divinity. She has served churches in Newport, Rhode Island, Westport Point, Massachusetts and Hope, Rhode Island. Pastor Katherine has certifications in community mediation, spiritual direction and facilitating labyrinth practice. She and her husband, Bruce, have been married for more than 30 years and have two adult children. PK and her husband are avid ballroom dancers. Whenever they get a chance the Mitchells spend time together at their family cottage in Northern Maine.
